All of our pieces are designed and produced in-house at our dedicated factory, allowing us to maintain full control over quality, materials, and craftsmanship. Our History
Hanna Khoury was born on January 5, 1941,
in the village of Maghdouch, located in the south of Lebanon.
At the age of twenty-two, he moved to Germany to pursue his passion for carpentry.
Between 1962 and 1965, he studied at
“Gewerbeschule-Kerschensteiner-München,”
earning his diploma as a Master of Carpentry.
Following this achievement,
he continued his education in Detmold, where he spent two years at the Interior Architecture School
“Detmolder Schule für Architektur und Innenarchitektur.”
There, he earned the prestigious title of “Designer.”
Hanna Khoury returned to Lebanon and quickly made his mark in the woodworking industry. He joined two leading companies, where his talent and dedication earned him a trusted position.
By 1976
Hanna Khoury took a bold step and founded his own furniture company, “Galerie Hanna Khoury.” Initially, it was a modest showroom featuring designs exclusively created by the founder himself.
A decade of hard work and dedication culminated in 1986 with the establishment of a new, larger showroom on the main road leading to Bickfaya. This expansion marked the birth of what is now known as “Hanna Khoury Design.”
In 1995
driven by his unwavering passion for craftsmanship, Hanna Khoury realized one of his most cherished dreams: the establishment of his own furniture factory. Strategically located at the entrance of the Industrial City of Mazraat Yachouh, this factory became a cornerstone of his legacy.
Today, Hanna Khoury continues to uphold his commitment to excellence.
His designs remain at the forefront of innovation and style, while the quality of production reflects his retentless pursuit of perfection.
The enduring motto of his journey -“Made in Lebanon”— stands as a testament to his dedication and pride in his heritage.
